Nathan A. Hansen was nominated for the Lori Wallin Creative Writing Award in 2017. He served on the editorial board of the Trestle Creek Review’s 2017 edition and on the selection committee for the Northwest Undergraduate Conference in the Humanities in 2016. Nathan graduated from the Creative Writing and English program at Southern New Hampshire University. He now facilitates writer workshops, author presentations, and represents the Community Library Network on the North Idaho Literary Arts panel. He works as an information specialist for the Community Library Network, helping people locate hard to find and obscure resources. His writing has been featured in the Trestle Creek Review and Deep Wild Journal.
Nathan spends his free time with his two kids, wife, and dog wandering through the mountains of North Idaho in all kinds of weather. He has hiked through 24 national parks and monuments; his favorite is Canyonlands in central Utah. Nathan also spent time studying Taoist philosophy and Tai Chi Chuan in the Wudang Mountains of China during the summer of 2019.
